We all seem to have let this site fall by the wayside over the past couple years. A pitty, we used to have a nice little miniature community within the larger dA community. I never was one to get fully involved in sites like this, guess that's just a little too social for my tastes. I do like occasionally posting something that I created though, and getting feedback on it. Most of my comments came from close personal friends, but none-the-less, it's putting yourself out there for something. And that's not an easy thing for me to do. Ask anyone who's watched me sing.

I've got a couple things I've been working on. A scarf for grace with a nice tapestry design on it, a blanket for a good friend of mine who's been there for me above and beyond since I moved out here. And I need to post my first tapestry creation. I took a picture of it to post, but then my camera corrupted and I had to have K'Hill fix it for me. Hasn't really been my semester with electronic things. On top of that, I've got mountains of photography that I need to put up. Some of which I'm actually quite proud of. Some of which is mediocre, but tells a story that I want to put out there. I hope to start writing again at some point. Who knows when or if I actually will.

As for my life, I'm back at school. The yellow-haired boy and I are "official" now, whatever that means. I still like him, as long as I don't spend too much time with him. Not to say I don't like being around him, just that I can't spend every waking moment with him, otherwise he makes me want to bludgeon him with something. Probably not the best set-up for a successful relationship, but that's life, right? Sometimes things don't work out in fairytales. I'm teaching a lot, which is fun, but stressful. I'm still not very good at this whole coming up with lesson plans thing. Slowly but surely though, it's getting better. I started playing guitar. I love it. It frusterates me that I suck right now, but I've been steadily improving. Hopefully one day I won't.

I'm not even really sure why I wrote this journal. I suppose I just figured it had been long enough since the last one. Anyway, I should go. Wednesdays are busy days for me, and I'm going to be late for class if I don't get changed.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body but rather to skid in
sideways, Chocolate in one hand, strawberries in the other, body totally worn out and screaming What a ride!
